I knew Rich ever since the National Dairy Board started in 1984; always a gentleman. I am sorry for your loss.

I traveled with Rich on a number of Official business trips.

Rich was an intelligent and caring person.

I feel saddened with his passing; knowing that he must have left a beautiful caring family.

Rich was the most kind, cheerful upbeat man I have ever had the pleasure knowing...I am so sorry that he lost his heroic battle against his cancer...I was so sure he was going to beat it. Please know how much Rich was respected and appreciated by his colleagues. When my son was diagnosed with cancer, Rich called and provided such kindness and encouragement. I will never forget his thoughtfulness. He was the consummate professional as well. I recall how vital he was to our efforts in Congress. The respect with which he was held made a big difference at the most critical times, and helped us achieve a very important victory. He was very proud of his family and told us often how...
