Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences and sympathy to the family.

Dick and I were friends and classmates in high school and Joanne and Ruth were friends and co-workers at the telephone company. I recall seeing Dick when he was in the hospital several years ago at the same time as my dad. We wish you strength and God's blessings in your time of sorrow.

Jerod and Darcie, I'm sorry for your loss.

From a teamate and classmate. I have missed Dick at all of our class reunions and such over the years but I do remember him well. A moment from the past stands out in my mind. In our junior year we were playing a much larger Westerville team and Dick scored an ealry toucdown on a trick play called the "swinging gate". Dick caught a pass and streaked into the end zone.

What has always stood out about Richard was his level of commitment in whatever he was doing. He always gave his all. It's evident from 52 years of marriage, helping men turn their lives around or the countless hours of volunteering in our community. He will be greatly missed. Ruth, our prayers to you.
