We were greatly saddened to have just received word of Dick's passing. He was of great patience and help to us, the family of Wallace & Ruth Wunderlich of Lincoln. Our hearts go out to Dick's family.

My fondest memories of Dick was how my husband, Steve, and I trusted him with so much of our personal and business affairs. He was family to us and then, we had the privilege of having Andrew be part of our family in our 78th & Cass Crane Coffee store. He was adopted by us also.

I am so sorry to have heard the news just today. Please know you are in my prayers and I just know Steve was one of the first in line to greet Dick and say "Welcome Home, join me for a coffee".

Omaha Star Newspaper is very sadden by the passing of a dear friend to the paper. Dr. Marguerita Washington, the staff and the Mildred D. Brown Memorial Study Center extends our heartfelt condolences to the family.

To the wonderful people at Marks Clare & Richards: My heart breaks today. I enjoyed working with Dick while at MC&R. His sense of humor still makes me smile. I'm thinking of you all.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Dick's family for whom he always spoke so lovingly and to all of his friends and collegues in the firm. His quick wit, keen intellect and kind manner will certainly be missed, but always remembered with fondness and great respect.

I've never met Richard but I'm good friends with two of his boys (Andrew and Jeremy). They are both excellent people and its obvious they grew up in a loving and caring home. I'm truely sorry for your loss and you will be in my prayers. May God bless you - James Mann
