Richard was born on May 16, 1916 and passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016. Richard was a resident of Seattle, Washington at the time of his passing. Dick graduated from Tama High School in 1934 He graduated in 1939 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He was enlist in the Army Air Corps in 1942 during WWII and served as an aircraft maintenance officer until early 1946. He was married to Barbara. Dick was my friend Cindy's father. It was always such a delight to talk with him. He was an engaging, kind man, and the best conversationalist. He showed a genuine interest in people and took the time to get to know them on an individual level. He was a very special person, and a terrific role model for how to live a long and full life.
