My husband Joseph played golf with Dick every summer on the league for the past 6 years! Joe would come home week after week and say he beat me again! Dick is 45 years older than Joe, I told my husband, age means nothing Dick has the patience and wisdom on the course. My husband came home one day and said he roasted me on the course today he made jokes. I loved hearing about it every week. Mrs. Meade, I'm very sorry for your loss. I am one of the Thursday golf guy's who will miss Dick as a friend. His Golf was as good as it get's for 83, I can only imagine in his younger day, but his attitude was always cool. I only knew Dick for Three years or so, but loved the man as a friend instantly.
