Not sure what to say?

I met Richard in 1970 while attending the Texas Gun Collector's Association. He was always a gentleman and easy to converse with.

We saw each other over the years at
shows in locations such as Las Vegas/ I was fortunate
to purchase an Ivory Stocked 1866 Winchester Carbine that was in his collection which had be made for the Emperor Maximilian
of Mexico. Richard was a knowledgeable student of Antique
Weapons. He will be missed by friends and...

Cluster of 50 Memorial Trees

R. P. Mellon was a very personable figure at the Richard K. Mellon and Sons office for many years. The Foundation was crucial for contributing to the environmental and civic entities of Pittsburgh and beyond. He will be missed by many! Rest In Peace

True American Icon and Legend has fallen. Gone but not Forgotten. RIP Brave Warrior. The world is a much better place since Richard walked upon this earth.

Both his military service and his public services to others less fortunate are true markers of a good man. Choosing to serve as an Officer after WWII was an unselfish and honorable action and one replicated in other areas of his life. My condolences to his extended family.

As his fellow Alumnus of Valley Forge Military Academy and College, and on behalf of all of the members of the Lieutenant General Milton H. Medenhbach Foundation, I offer deepest condolences. May God rest his soul and comfort all who loved him.
