Richard A. Michalowicz Jr., a 21 year resident of St. Clair Shores and former long time resident of Fraser, died Thursday morning in St. John Hospital of Detroit at the age of 64.
Richard was born in Detroit on February 27, 1945, a son of Marion and the late Richard Michalowicz Sr. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He was retired from the Steck Shulte Co. of Warren where he was employed as a truck driver. Richard loved camping and was an avid card player who loved the game of Euchre. He was a loving person who will be deeply missed by the many he has touched in his life time.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia; his devoted mother, Marion; his loving children, Richard III (Catherine) and Dawn Michalowicz; his step children, Pam (Michael) Saad and Suzette Laughton; his brothers, Jerry, Paul, Ed, and Michael and sister, Donna Wood. He is also survived by his loving 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard and sister, Christine.
Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, Sunday from 2pm till 9pm and Monday from 10am till time of funeral services at 11am. Share memories with the family at www.faulmannwalsh.com.
our family lived in fraser and my brothers and i went to school with richard and jerry. our last name was fields. bill,jim,kaye. we were all very good friends. our sympathy to all your family. remembering the good old days. kaye

sylvia and the whole family i am thinking of you dearly. rick became a very good friend to me and everyone. i will miss the meetings on monday at ballews w/the bowling game and of course the campground days. you will stay in my heart always.
