Not sure what to say?

I met Rick when I was working in IN with Licia, and he came to see her in the show. We all became fast friends, and I was thrilled when they moved to NYC. I would often run into Rick (or Rick and Licia!) when I was leaving our apartment building, or returning home. He always had a big smile and a hug, plus a new "proud grandpa" moment to share. I miss these chance encounters with Rick, they always brightened any day.

I first met Rick when I was doing two shows in Rep with Licia in Evansville, IN. I was struck by his kindness, his sense of humor, and how devoted he and Licia were to each other. Later on, Lila and I spent time at their apartment in Manhattan and were thrilled to know that they were in the same city. We both wish we had spent more time with him.

I met Rick when he was doing his internship at Osawatomie State Hospital in the late 1970's in Kansas. We became good friends with him, Jolene and their children Matthew and Mary Elizabeth. I attended many of their performances over the years. I have only gentle thoughts of Rick as I never recall hearing a harsh word from him. I admired his firm but patient parenting skills. He had a quiet calm about him that made you feel happy, included and seen. We had reconnected on Facebook after...

Rick facilitated our marriage preparation at St. Michael and All Angels, Mission Kansas. He was a kind, soft spoken man. Living in Delaware now, I wish I could to the service on Saturday but already have plans to be out of town. Jim Robertson

Rick was a kind man who had a heart for service. I witnessed this in theater productions at Theater in the Park, Shawnee Mission. He was always prepared, talented, and.......serving. I am saddened by your family's loss and pray that the Lord of All pours out His grace on you as you grieve and joyfully remember.

I will always remember Rick with his soft voice and loving nature. He was always so proud of his family. He was a devoted husband and loving person. I will miss him dearly.

Rick was such a kind man and he spread joy everywhere he went. I met him through his incredible wife, Licia. I have fond memories of ice cream socials in KC and Chiefs games in NYC. I feel so blessed to have known him.

Rick was very wise and kind. We will always be grateful for his thoughtful guidance. Sending our condolences to his loved ones.
