Not sure what to say?

Dick was one of the kindest men I have ever known. Always a thoughtful word or just a simple kind hearted smile when one really needed it. He will be missed in our neighborhood and around whereever he went, but we will aways feel his spirit and kind touch of carring from beyond the veil.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I was far from being a close friend, but the times that I was asked to fill in during his extra early doubles tennis matches were sufficient for me to deduce that he was one delightful guy. It was apparent that his other teammates were glad to have him around.
His amiableness was ever present and it was obvious to me he wasn't the type to let a double fault ruin his day. My deepest sympathy to his family, they have certainly lost a person of quality.

I had the pleasure of knowing "Sir Richard" for the majority of my life. He was at times a mentor and always a friend. Dick cared about his fellow man and was there unconditionally if needed.
I will miss him.

Words always fail at such a sad time but please know that my thoughts are with all of you. Dick was absolutely the nicest guy one would ever hope to meet and have as a friend. I feel so fortunate to have been included in this list.

I will always remember Dick and feel very fortunate to have known him and worked with him on the Rotary Wheels of Power Committee. We have lost someone very special
