I had locker next to Dick in high school. A very funny and kind fellow. I had a lot of respect for him, even though I hadn't seen in a decade or so.

Dick,
I cannot believe it has been a year since we said goodbye to you! You had the most optimistic outlook in spite of your health issues. You didn't let anything slow you down. I am so grateful for our time together. I cherish the memories and feel so blessed that you shared your life with me. xoxo Angie

I have very fond memories of Dick from William Jewell College and as a fellow lawyer when he practiced in Kansas City. Dick was a true mentor and friend and will be badly missed. Condolences to family and friends.

I didn't do a good job of keeping up with Dick after high school, but I did run into him at the Webster Schnuck's just two to four months ago. He was upbeat and friendly, as always. One of the things I always liked about Dick was his easy-going, self-deprecating manner. I figure anyone who can get into Harvard Law is brilliant, but Dick never flaunted that talent. Never knew him to say an unkind word about anyone. I'll miss him. –Steve Turley
