Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I worked for Orchard for many years and have many fond memories. I learned a lot from the Moores as I was only 18 when I started at Orchard. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

Dear Aunt Et, and cousins Rich and Dale: I find myself fondly remembering times with Uncle Dick. One comes to mind specifically when I snagged Rich's nose with a shad fly while fishing on the Sacramento River. Uncle Dick took us, I believe, to the Sheriff's Dept ER downtown where they removed the fly from Rich's nose and we all had a great laugh afterwards. I remember that Uncle Dick was always fun to be around and enjoyable to visit at Orchard Supply Co. when I was just a little...

Ethel, My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I only met Dick a few times but what a great man. Mother (June Willard) would be one of the first to send condolences to you, also. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ethel and family May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Know that I think of you often and the many times that we spent together with you and Dick. From Jane Facchini for Brenda Mancarti-Vetter.

Ethel, Dale & Bill, Lori & Rich: the affection for Dick shared among all the Schwartz family brings a smile of warmth and delight to my lips. Mom always felt a great closeness with her little brother. Dad looked forward to his lunches with Dick. And I loved the wonderful, gentle kidding that was such a signature and trademark. I can't imagine a sweeter guy nor a more thoughtful uncle or a more caring man. I share your grief and will miss him. Much love to you.

To the Moore family, I was sad to hear of Dick's passing. I spent many happy years working for Orchard. Dick was so good to work with and I wish the company had been able to continue, I would probably still be working there! My thoughts are with you.
