Richard S. Moretti, 32, of Brick, passed away on Sunday January 3, 2021. He was born and raised in Brick, NJ. He studied at Philadelphia University, becoming a computer aided draft designer for Dover Pool Products. Ricky was an artist, animal lover and enjoyed spending time with family and loved ones.
Ricky was predeceased by his mother Linda Ott-Moretti and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his father Richard Moretti, brother Michael Moretti and his wife Christina Martinez, sister Brianna Moretti and her fiancé Joseph Dolisi, his girlfriend Caitlin Stolzenthaler, his two nephews Michael and Giovani, along with his paternal grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a viewing on Friday, January 8 2021, from 4pm to 8pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick NJ.
A funeral service will be offered Saturday at 10am followed by entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.colonialfuneralgroup.com.
Due to the Covid-19 executive orders of Governor Murphy, please be aware that masks must be worn at all times, social distancing must be maintained and there are capacity limitations for all gatherings. For the safety of all involved, we ask that you please limit your time in the funeral home and pay your respects briefly to allow the opprotunity for others to do so as well.
I miss you every moment of every day. Listening to songs from our favorite movies right now. It never gets better Rick. I try to do at least one strong thing a day bc you'd want that but it's tough. Izzy misses you all day too. Sleeps on your pillow. Watch over us ok.

The only comfort I have is knowing Ricky is with his Mom. He will be greatly missed. His smile was beautiful, he was such a caring and loving young man who was taken too soon. I Love You Ricky. Linda take care of your boy!

I would study your beautiful face when it blossomed into a smile, and also when it was intent and deep in thought. If you were lost in thought, you'd eventually catch me looking too long and laugh, and then I'd get the best of both worlds!
