Richard Gowans "Dick" Morrison

We are saddened to remember the passing of a dear friend and colleague but are heartened for the future by the great memories of someone who inspired us all. David and Judy, I know Dick is missed every day. I know I miss those phone calls just to check on each other Gone but not forgotten!!

We met several times.Kind, courteous, and thoughtful. He made us feel welcome-as much as a close friend.

Sorry we didn´t know you lost Dick but have missed his phone calls and visits. He was a wonderful person and good friend through the years. We treasure the memories and know he is with God. Bill and Liane

We first met Dick about 11-12 years ago at One Trick Pony while sharing a table with him and watching a musical group perform. I was sketching the performers and Dick was interested in my drawing. We talked about art and his interests. Later I met him at a couple of art-based charity events. He was friendly and engaging, a genuinely nice man that Grand Rapids will miss tremendously.

I will always remember Dick for his humility, kindness, and wonderful friendship we had in the later years of our lives. I will miss him. I offer his family my deepest condolences.

I am sorry to hear of Dick's passing and that I will be unable to attend his funeral. I am gone from home and will not be back until March 5th. I will be in touch with you soon. What a big loss this is and you have my sympathy and I will miss him. Ida Verschoof

Mr. Dick Morrison was a astute business man, mentor and, above all, a warm and engaging human being that had that special twinkle in his eye that made everyone around him comfortable! Mr. Morrison was one of a kind and left this world a better place because he was a part of it! Our deepest sympathies to the entire Morrison family.
