Not sure what to say?

To Kim and the girls,
I remember so well the four of you visiting my office. Richard was always a great source of interesting conversation! Do you remember when we watched the Northampton mini-tornado together in my waiting room? My prayers are with your family in the loss of a wonderful husband and father.

I am greatly saddened to hear of Rich's passing and my heart and sympathies goes out to Rich's family.

I worked with Richard both at Bridge and Spfld High. He was a talented man who cared deeply for his students and his family. He will be missed greatly by both.I am so very sorry for you loss.
Fran Griffin

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Murphy on some anti-bullying PSAs last year. At the time, he was clearly struggling with his health, but dedicated many hours and a couple of late nights working with me to tape and edit the videos for the benefit of the students. He was a thoughtful and talented educator and I am lucky to have had the opportunity to work with him. My thoughts and prayers are with is family.

I am so sad to hear this news. Mr.Murphy was my friend. He loved his wife and daughters. He took the time to teach our students even the most difficult ones how to make beautiful works of art. You will be missed. Ms. Hall
