Not sure what to say?

Rich was a wonderful man and a true example of a good and faithful servant. He was like a breath of fresh air. I will miss him. I can envision him dancing and laughing with the angels.

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Rich. I worked with him at LifeWay and recall him as one of the most kind and positive employees working there. Blessings to his family and friends at this time.

Enjoyed working with Rich at The Sunday School Board/LifeWay. Sorry to hear he is gone from this life.

Richard's many accomplishments set a wonderful example to continue to strive for excellence and service to others. He will be surely be missed not only by family but also all those who knew him professionally and personally. Under God's Kingdom by means of Jesus we have the hope of seeing him again during the resurrection (Jo 5:28).

While we did not know Rich well, he always made us feel welcome at Nall. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

I strongly believe that God used Rich to help me discern God's Will for me at a time I needed to make a career change. That was in Nashville in 1989. Rich's words of wisdom gave me the courage and a challenge to "start over". It resulted in me loving the 23 years I spent as a school librarian. Many times I have thanked God for using Rich to help me discover what I really loved.

It was a privilege to have known Rich, even for the short time he served at our church. He certainly honored the Lord with his many, varied talents. His warm personality made him easy to love and appreciate. We miss him, but rejoice that he is now worshiping at the feet of the Lord whom he served.

Going to miss you, Rich.

I am grateful for the life of Mr. Murrell. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.
