Rich was one of my best friends. We first met at Kent State University. We lived and worked together in San Diego.. He enriched my life in many ways. Rest in peace my friend and brother. Miss you.

Rich and I had a wonderful, long-term relationship and friendship. I met Rich when I moved into what Steve Bage calls "the infamous and legendary place on Auburn Drive" around 1976. Though there were many memorable times back then . . . my main focus here is the last 15 years of Rich's life.
