Not sure what to say?

Rich and I had a wonderful, long-term relationship and friendship. I met Rich when I moved into what Steve Bage calls "the infamous and legendary place on Auburn Drive" around 1976. Though there were many memorable times back then . . . my main focus here is the last 15 years of Rich's life. Anyone who knew Rich knew he was a music fanatic, listening to and reading about music voraciously . . . a perfect match for an audio slave like me. We both fed on each other's addiction to music. Rich and I met at Kent State and we were roommates in Wright Hall, twice. Rich was a dear friend not only to me but to everyone he knew and he will surely be missed. RIP my friend. Jack Kerch

It was a pleasure knowing you the last 30 years. RIP my friend.

I was a friend of your cousin, Becky, from Rhodes High. RIP

I still remember being 12 yrs old and you tried to teach me what made music psychedelic. You will be missed.

May you be at peace after such a long courageous battle. Boogie on!

RIP Rich

I will miss my brother from antoher mother!

This is for my longtime Friend and Brother, Rich Nageotte.
Yes, Rich, it was pretty perfect, starting with those early days at Dale Terrace in Kent. Fall quarter, '72. Our radio shows at WKSU-FM. (Thanks for engineering my audition tape, and for getting me the gig.) I met Rich at Kent State in 1970. In 1976 Rich invited me to San Diego. I moved and never looked back. Rich helped me get a start in San Diego, which, in turn, resulted in me having a very charmed life. Now retired and living comfortably in San Diego, I can't thank him enough. Rest in peace ol' pal.
