Rich and I had a wonderful, long-term relationship and friendship. I met Rich when I moved into what Steve Bage calls "the infamous and legendary place on Auburn Drive" around 1976. Though there were many memorable times back then . . . my main focus here is the last 15 years of Rich's life. Yes, Rich, it was pretty perfect, starting with those early days at Dale Terrace in Kent. Fall quarter, '72. Our radio shows at WKSU-FM. I met Rich at Kent State in 1970. In 1976 Rich invited me to San Diego. I moved and never looked back. Rich helped me get a start in San Diego, which, in turn, resulted in me having a very charmed life. Now retired and living comfortably in San Diego, I can't thank him enough. Rest in peace ol' pal.
