Not sure what to say?

Richard was a dear, funny and wonderful friend. He will always be a part of the memories that live in my heart. R.I.P. dear Richard, I hope you are with your precious Havanese pups that you loved so much.

Richard, I think of you so many times, and always with a smile. I hope you are playing a great game of chess in Heaven surrounded by your beloved Havanese pups. You were a champion at everything you did. R.I.P. dear friend.

Richard will always be a treasured and golden thread in the tapestry of my life. He was a rare gem of a man. If you were lucky enough to have the pleasure of his friendship, you already know this. I miss his wonderful sense of humor, his unusual perspective on life and his friendship. Sending warm wishes of healing and hope to his loving family during the holidays as they continue to mourn their loss.

I had known Mr. Napoli since I was in elementary school where he would teach chess after school in Randolph. He also helped run many scholastic tournaments I played in when I was growing up. I remember him as kind hearted and a wonderful instructor. And I had the honor of playing alongside him in the Amateur Team East when I was in high school. When I think about it, I believe that was the last time I ever saw him. Seeing that he's gone made me think back to all the wonderful memories I have...

I had been wondering about my dear friend Richard and why it has been so long since we spoke? No matter how much time went by we always managed to touch base to say hi and catch up a bit on each other's lives. I had a sad and sinking feeling that something was just not right as I googled his name. Oh my goodness, I am so sad, even stunned to see his name in the obituaries. That had been my worst fear. My deepest condolences to Christine and Jeff and their children whom he loved so much....

Just learned about it...
With sadness, good memories and deep respect.

I just found out about Richard's passing and am so sad.I met Richard at my dog grooming shop,Best Friends years ago when he brought his love,Junie in for regular, sometimes weekly baths/haircuts. He loved her so much and took such wonderful care of her when she was ill. We were all devastated when she passed. When he adopted Arti from my friend and fellow "rescuer" Tammy I couldn't have been happier for them both! I saw Richard and Arti, who he often called "young man" every few weeks until I...

I am very sorry to learn about Richard's passing. We worked together at Pru and he was an able and dedicated co-worker, colleague and friend. My condolences to his entire family. May he rest in peace.
