Not sure what to say?

They say when you fly, your Instructors voice never leaves your head. This is true. I can still hear Richards kind, gentle, instructive voice concurrent with certain maneuvers when flying. At other times, I remember his smile.
On one flight in the Ercoupe he said Im not sure what youre doing, but it seems to be working, so keep doing it. That kind of summed up his teaching style to me.
When you think of all the students of many forms he came in contact with, his impact is...

One of the greatest man Ive ever known. He has a wonderful support team with this beautiful daughters.

Our condolences to Richard and Kaarin's family.
From Kaarin's cousin Gordon and Roberta Smith, Springville, Utah

So sorry for the family' s loss but how much we (so many) have gained from Richard. It is deeply, deeply appreciated.

Fair skies and all tailwinds to R.K.N.in his newest adventure.

I am so sorry for your lose. I had Mr. Neves for a science teacher in American Falls years ago and to put it simply, I would have not graduated had it not been for him. He was a kind and caring teacher, who wanted to see every student do well and he helped me so very much. I will always be feel blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. God bless you....

How we will miss Cousin Richard and his cheery greeting, "Hi Cuz!" Richard had an enviable warm personality. Mark, Jeff, and I regret that we can't be there for his funeral service. We tried to make arrangements to come to Idaho. Richard left a wonderful legacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family. We can imagine the joy in heaven with the return of Richard.

The Ridge

Sorry for your fathers passing, I pray he is at peace and enjoying a new adventure with family and friends.
The Ridge
Sun came up on the ridge
Drop me here Dear
I need to walk, well to walk this ridge.
It looked and felt larger than life.
I love you and see you at the other end,
is what he said.
There was never a moment hesitation,
he or she will not be there
He had walked many a ridge in his life
Enjoyed the emergence of leaves, grass and sky
A butterfly...

I grew to love and appreciate Richard while he was teaching my dad Galen to fly. Richard then came to me often to have his hair cut. He always made sure to ask about my work and my family. He would ask about my brothers and sisters he didn't even know and made an effort to get to know about them through me. He was a kind and loving man that I consider a great friend.Thank you for sharing this special man with the blackfoot community. I am sorry for the loss of this amazing man. My thoughts...
