Not sure what to say?

I just found this notice. I am a distant relative on Norah's side (the Hannants). I met Don years ago at Edith and Leslie Taylor's 50th wedding anniversary. He will be very much missed. My condolences to his family.

My father, Jerry Romano, was one of your Dad's colleagues in Kainji, Nigeria.
Dad has asked me to let you know that he is saddened by the loss of your father.
Your Dad's obituary was a wonderful tribute to a fine man. Yes, our journey to Africa was certainly a life-changing time.

Hello, My Dad sent me this notice. I am a distant relative. My Grandparents were Burke and Peggy Nevison of Norland, my Dad is Gordon Nevison.
My Mother's Grandparents were the Taverners in Coboconk. My Great Great Great Grandfather built the Saucy Willow Inn.
Don looked a lot like my Uncle, Bob Nevison, who passed away a couple of years ago. Sorry to hear of his passing. He seemed like an interesting man.
All the best to your family.

Sorry for your loss Joanne. Love the pic of your dad. He lead a very interesting and long life. Again, my condolences.

We thoroughly enjoyed knowing both Don & his wife. Don was a true gentleman and a fascinating conversationalist. We played many games of bridge with Norah and Don and traveled with them to various places in Mexico. We miss both of them and have many fond memories. They are certainly missed in the ex-pat community in Ajijic.

I was very sadden to learn about the passing of Don. My late husband Albert and myself enjoyed many, many fine times with Don and Norah. Bridge, dinners, painting and engaging conversations, such good memories. He will be dearly missed by many. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
