I am sorry to see my boyhood friend passed away. We grew up together in Jamestown and lived in the same neighborhood. We spent many hours at his house playing our made up baseball game, and roulette. Richard played on a baseball team called the Holsom Bread all--stars. We played teams from all around Jamestown. I wish we had some pictures of that team.
I have many wonderful memories of times we shared with Richard Nehrling .

All U Champs
Remembering...a brother in the bond, fellow pledge and teammate; Dick was serious minded, but with a twinkle in his eye, and a major contributor to our All-U Championships in basketball and the half mile relay; yet his achievements in the classroom toward our house GPA were the most appreciated. He was highly respected by all. We are deeply saddened at his loss.

I was deeply saddened when I learned of Dick's passing. Having spent over thirty years with Dick at Smith Barney, I knew him as one of the most generous and genuine individuals I have ever met. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
