Dear Barbara,
We have never met, but my husband and I used to run into Richie now and then. I will always remember our school bus rides so many, many years ago. We were close cousins at one time, and I will always remember him with love and affection. He always told me about the O'Connor side of our family, most of whom I've never known. Richie's father and my father's mother were brother and sister.

It saddens me to learn of Richard's passing. He and I always shared a chuckle as we only saw each other at funerals or wakes for the Huley/Havens/O'Connor families. And now, ironically but very divinely mechancholy, Richard and I will be there at the funeral home together again but this will be our last contact. I never imagined seeing Richard this way.
