It was my privilege to work with Mr. O'Neil as a principal in the Boston Public Schools. He was a kind, fair and compassionate leader who created a safe learning environment for students and supported his teachers as a mentor.
I am devastated to hear the news of his passing. I pray that Maureen finds comfort through her deep faith and loving family and friends.

My condolences Maureen to you and the family. Mr. O'Neill was the best principle that I have ever worked with. He saw the good and the potenial in everyone. I will never forget how he made you believe that you can achieve your goals and be the best at it. I will truly miss him.

There are no words to Express the sorrow Jim and I feel for you Maureen. You were a Rock for Dick even though your own heart was broken by the passing of your two beautiful and very muched loved daughters. I will pray that God holds you tight if you feel like the light in your heart is so dim now. Please remember Dick and your daughters will always be with you as is God.

So sorry to hear of Mr. O'Neill's passing. In all my years working for the Boston Public Schools, Mr. O'Neill was the best principal I ever had the pleasure to work for. A true gentleman
