Orr, Richard Walter, 81, passed away, Saturday, August 31, 2013 in Eureka.

Loving husband of Lois (nee Bowler), dear father of Ricky Orr and Darrell (Lisa) Orr. Beloved grandfather of Nathaniel, Justin, and Amanda Orr. Dear brother of Raymond (Dee) Orr and Col. Robert (Ann) Orr. Dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many. Loving son of the late Richard "Red" and Louise Orr, dear son-in-law of the late Rev. Richard and Mrs. Audrey Bowler.

He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy, Retired from St. Louis City Police Department (retired with the rank of Sergeant), St. Louis Community College at Forest Park, and also from Missouri Eastern Correctional Facility in Pacific.

In his earlier years he loved to travel and camp. He has a Master's degree in criminal justice from Northeast Missouri State University/Truman State.

Services: Funeral service on Wednesday September 4, 2013 at 11:30 am at Schrader Funeral Home, Eureka. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to BackStoppers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 3, 2013 from 4-8 pm.
