Not sure what to say?

Was in Coach Ory's American history class. Probably the only student he had who's book report on nuclear weapons was confiscated by US Secret Service....True story...Coach O was great teacher, everyone's favorite. Thanks coach for being part of our younger years...ever remembered....

Coach Ory allowed this skinny freshman with no confidence to make the freshmen basketball team in 1987. Without that opportunity, who knows where I would be. But, I do know that I will always be grateful for that opportunity and the lessons learned throughout my academic and athletic career at Baker High School as a result of Coach Ory giving me that opportunity.

I am deeply sorry for your family's loss. After reading the obituary, I know that the communion of saints has grown...

Beverly and family,
We are so sorry to hear about your husband and Dad. Richie was a friend to many and he was certainly someone that we called a friend. May God comfort you in this time of separation. We love you.

I’m so very sorry for your loss!!! Coach was great man & I truly enjoyed the time I had with him. God Bless you all!!! Prayers during this difficult. RIP, Coach!!!

May you rest in God's arms.. You was one of my best teachers at Baker Hi School.I think You taught World Geography..The best teacher..

Just saying Richie Ory brings a smile to my face, what a wonderful man. I couldn't say Richie without saying Ory. I had to be careful because usually Richie Barker was close by. You will be missed. Prayers for the family.

Rest in Peace your were a good man and father it's been a pleasure to know you and your family!

My brother Roger loved Coach Ory when he was at school and graduated in 1981. When I started at Baker High, I had Coach for Geography and he still had fond memories of my brother. He was a great teacher, made us smile, of course he didn’t deny having a paddle if someone were to act out (wasn’t a big issue back then). I don’t think he ever had to enforce it in my class. Every time I saw coach he was always great and remembered me, as I’m sure he remembered all his students. My prayers go out...

Dear Beverly and family,
So sorry to hear about Richie. You know Mother and I loved Richie and you. I have so many fun memories. Take care; hugs and prayers sent.
