Not sure what to say?

I'm very late to post this, but I'm sure Rick is getting a kick out of my belated condolences. I am - at this very moment - working on an appraisal and one of the comps I'm using is the condo he owned with Susan. Anyway, I met Rick in the early 90's after we both hired into John Meyer Appraisal Co. He was such a great guy: so generous with his time, his knowledge and his entertaining insights into real estate, religion, etc. For most people, some topics were better left alone, but Rick...

I am so sad to hear of Rick's passing. He was a very good friend, my brother Wayne Grover. They spent a lot of time together and adventures. Rick was wayne's manager as Wayne played music across the country. After Wayne's passing, our family kept in touch with Rick and he would visit us often. We always loved his visits. He would reminisce about he and Wayne's times together. Truly a caring person with an awesome personality.

With sadness I read of Rick´s passing. I want to acknowledge what a delightful, loyal friend he was, very generous and entertaining to us all. He left us with wonderful, loving memories and will be greatly missed by those he profoundly touched!

I am heart-broken to learn of Rick's passing. I just want to say to his sisters Cindi, Lynn and Amy how very sorry and sad I am to find out Rick has passed. We lost contact after High School, but I have many memories of Rick and my brothers growing up in Cascade. He was a decent young man and well liked by everyone who knew him. Rich was very athletic. We played Little League together, swam in the thornapple river, camped out in a wooded field near our house. He was always good natured...

I was fortunate to meet Rick in Hawaii in the early 70's where we worked for a Tree trimming service. I was the climber, and he was one of the ground crew. He didn't care for heights... His other great friend, Wayne Grover was also with us. We remained friends all these years. Our yearly battle of trash talking whenever the Ohio State Michigan football game was played was our way of keeping things going. Rick and I shared that dry sense of humor and would give each other grief just for the...

I'm so sorry to hear of Rick's death! We grew up in Cascade as next door neighbors and we became best friends. He taught me how to golf, or at least how to lose golf balls with great regularity! He was an incredible person who touched so many lives. He was an incredible mentor to me and I will forever be in his debt!

Rick was a conscientious appraiser and a long time friend. I'll miss his open and honest communication, as well as our outings for dinner or coffee.

Am so sorry to learn of Rick's passing. He fought such a courageous battle. Calling him my friend was surely a gift.
