Today, we laid you to rest, Uncle Rusty, and it still seems unreal. We're still trying to accept that you're gone; still trying to accept that we won't see you in this life again or hear your voice on the phone. We took a lot for granted, that you'd always be around and always with us. I guess the best we can hope for is to see you again in the next life and to know for now that you are at peace.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering scriptures such as Psalms 119:50 help us find the comfort we need in God.

Uncle Rusty we will miss you dearly. We have shared so many good times and some bad times together! You were always a family man, a hard worker providing for his family, loved photography, fishing and was an adventurous person whom loved traveling and site seeing. Always had a great sense of humor and knew how to get us laughing! A void may have been left in our house of Parenteau but another star has been added to the heavens above to look over us, and to guide us.
