When I was a kid, coach and Pat allowed me and my brother to play basketball in his backyard on the basketball court. This man was a true Chippewa through and through. RIP coach Parfitt

I of course remember Dick as CMU Basketball coach when I was a student. However I really got to know him in later years at the SAC. Either playing tennis or in the workout area. I also remember him and Pat playing golf at Riverwood. It was a privilege to get to know him because of that. He was a fine man Always friendly and approachable.
