Not sure what to say?

You are in my thoughts Liz. Take care and much love. Marian

Liz.....I am so sorry to read of Dick's passing. I am continuing to go through my husband, Don Cummings, important papers and found some lovely letters from Dick, a classmate from Fessenden, among his belonging. Although Don is gone for 8 years, his connection to old friends is something that I cherish, and only wish I had found Dick's letters sooner. Now, they are both in heaven, enjoying some smiles about their childhood at Fessenden. My sincere condolences to you.

Liz, I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out about Dick's passing.
You and he were such important people in my life while in Cleveland.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My friend, you will be missed. I remember you shaking hands with children at Lakewood UMC. You would take their hand and tell them, "Now look me in the eye when you shake my hand. Look me in the eye!" So important.

Liz, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Peace be with your spirit as you begin this next chapter, a really difficult one.

In this time of sadness for Liz, I truly believe we know he is in a better place. Even after he left Lakewood United Methodist Church where he baptized both of my children, he kept in touch with them into adulthood and then again at Westlake United Methodist Church and up to the time he went to be with Jesus.
You could not ask for a more friendly, personable, folk than Dick and Liz. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dick Parks was the epitome of an excellent pastor, a fine man and a good friend. He exuded faith, hope, love and friendliness in all his living. We loved him dearly and will remember him always. To his loving wife, Liz, also our dear friend, we offer our love, our thoughts and our prayers. We are so sorry for your loss.

To the family and friends of Rev. Dr. Richard Parks:
Please accept my condolences and prayers. Dick was the older brother I never had - a confidant, friend, and colleague in ministry. His was a life well lived. He was dedicated to Liz, family, and his ministry. As a pastor he indeed cared for his congregation - the shepherd over his flock. I can think of no better tribute than to strive to live my life with his dedication, commitment, compassion, and sense of humor. Dick, may your...
