I had the pleasure of knowing Al Parry at our B-52 squadron at McCoy Air Force Base during the Vietnam conflict. Years later we had the opportunity to fly the DC-9 at Northwest Airlines together for a month and really enjoying our Nova Scotia overnights . Al was a professional and sometimes would bring his wood pens he said he was making at the time. He was truly a gifted artist and a wonderful person . Nancy, I knew of Al at BW but came to know him personally at Northwest Airlines where we were both based in Detroit. He was a gentle soul and a very nice guy. I learned of his passing through the ALPA magazine. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

I am at a loss for words and wanted you to know how special Al was to me, He was the best neighbor I have EVER had. He was so generous to Chris and I and taught me a lot Like how to split wood or use a chain saw. If you need anything you have or number please feel free to call
