Not sure what to say?

My memories of Dick are pretty exclusively from growing up with him in the mid-60's and early 70's as "Audubon" kids in the school we attended.
Dick exuded an excitement about learning and knowing things. He was well-liked and well-respected as one of the "brains" of the lot, and always had a very upbeat disposition. If ever there was a difficult question presented, we often looked Dick's way for the answer, as the final authority... and if he didn't know it, we figured no one...

I am very sorry for your loss. I can imagine how heartbreaking it is to lose a loved one, but it's uplifting to know that God promises us in Isaiah 65:17 a near future in which not only will we not feel this horrid pain in our hearts when we lose a loved one but we won't even remember how it felt.

I did not know Dick "Giraffe" but felt compelled to offer my condolences after reading his amazing story. I wish I had known him and know he will be delighted in the hereafter as well as welcomed with open arms. What an amazing man he must have been.
