Not sure what to say?

I don't think I ever saw him not smiling! He was a very interesting guy....could sit and listen to him talk all day, he will be missed. Our family always enjoyed it when he was around. Glad he made the trip to Arkansas so we could be with him. Love all of you and praying for you, The Slater family in Tennessee.

I'm sorry he is gone. I remember him as a caring, joyful grandpa who cared deeply for his kids and grandchildren.

Dear Aunt Rose, I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a young man. I'm so sorry I never got to know him as all comments from the family on Facebook make him sound like a delightful man. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you as you go through this sad time.

2009 - Summer Family Reunion

We will always cherish the time we spent with him & Aunt Rosie over the last few summers sitting around the camp fires. He was a welcomed and beloved addition to our family and he quickly became one of our favorite people. Our hearts are heavy as he will be sadly missed.
Rest in peace Uncle Dick.

Richard was truly a wonderful Christian, kind, and a fun loving guy. My sincere sympathy to his family that meant so much to him. Lynda Vermaat
