Dear Betty,

We, Gene and I, are so sorry to hear of Dr. Peek's passing. I have so many fond memories of being in the choir, as Gene does too. After leaving Charlotte, Mom and Dad would tell us of the wonderful music at Covenant.

Our thoughts and blessing are with you at this time.

Dear Betty, I am so sorry to hear about Dick's death. I have so many fond memories of singing in the choir with the two of you. Also the bell choir and a trip to sing or play in Richmond. The music at Covenant always spoke to my heart even when the sermons didn't. I love you both. Peggy Meyer

Mrs. Peek,
You and Dr. Peek taught me so much while I was growing up about singing in the church choir and many other things. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Christmas services and Easter will not be the same with Dr. Peek. My love is with you and your family.
Love Anna

Dear Betty,
I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Peek. You and he were such good influences on me growing up in the Covenant youth choirs and my Dad and I share special memories of being in the summer operettas. I will always remember Dr. Peek telling us all to "open your mouth and sing!" It was so special that Dr. Peek played the music at my wedding. Thank you for all that you and Dr. Peek have given to us at Covenant. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love, Anne

Mrs. Peek - Kim, Nicole, and I are are truly sorry for the loss of Dr. Peek. No one that grew up in Covenant will forget the wonderful contributions that he made. God bless you and your family.

Mrs. Peek,
I was sorry to hear about Dr. Peek. My parents gave me a copy of the book that was prepared at your retirement, and I love that book. The two of you have had such an interesting and purpose-filled life. Whenever I look through that book, I feel inspired to stay focused on serving God.

I also am in a chancel choir (perhaps not the strongest voice to come out of your choirs, but I love to be among the other voices). It would be interesting to see how many choirs...

Dear Betty, We were so sorry to hear of Dr. Peek's death.I have so many fond memories of growing up in Covenant--especially the Peeks and the great music programs I was in!!You both helped with our wedding and Ron and I still enjoy playing our tape of the ceremony. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Betty, David and I were saddened to hear about Dick. So many memories flood my heart: living near you on Sunset Dr., going to gatherings on Habersham that you had for the youth in the 50's, singing in both the Youth Choir and Adult Choir, worshipping in the Episcopal church in NY and then going to lunch with you two (where we had that impressive flaming dessert), Dick's playing for and your directing our wedding. I'm still in a Chancel Choir and often think of the lasting things you taught...

Dear Betty, Ricky and Charles:
Jody and I are so sad to hear of Dr. Peek's passing. What a wonderful choir director he was -- and what a wonderful man. I will never forget his patience and kindness with all of us unruly children over the years. And his love and gifts of music, which he shared with all of us so freely, have enriched our lives beyond measure.
I hope you will not mind me sharing a funny story -- one of my all-time favorites. Apparently, you had gone to a show of the...
