Richard "Dick" Pettit

I knew Dick from his high school days and from Camp Peary, Virginia

Really was a pleasure working with him at Delco. Helpful welder.

I am so sad to hear of Dick’s passing. He was a wonderful friend to my husband, Don when they were on the Germantown Volunteer Fire Department. They shared many stories of fighting fires and how great comrades they were at the time. When Don was in a bad car accident in’76 Dick was the first one to gather the guys to donate blood at Kettering Hospital. He was a treasure for Germantown. Those days are long gone and missed.

Bob and I, along with our brother, Don Cox, extend our heartfelt sympathy to all the family members of Mr Petit. We will miss seeing him out and about in Germantown. We always enjoyed talking to him, and seeing him outside in good weather, keeping an eye on things going on in Germantown-- especially on East Market Street. The
