Not sure what to say?

When I was 14 I was playing in the 16 and under Richmond City tennis tournament. I was the youngest in the age group and had some trepidation playing against older competition . Out of nowhere Dickie asked me to be his doubles partner. He was the # 1 seed and moreover his "cool factor" was in the awesome category. To this day the trophy we won has special meaning as a watershed point in my tennis career and perhaps my life. Requiescat in Pace, my friend.

My sincerest condolences to the Family of Richard Peyton, a very dear friend to all who knew him. Richard always greeted friends with his beautiful smile and made you feel so very special. What a very amazing lifestyle he had in younger years, even up until his tenure working with musical concerts to carry on his zest for life. His passing is a definite loss, and we can all only hope to be as inspiring as he was in his lifetime. Thank you Richard for being my friend, and may you rest in...

Dickie has been a friend since we were teammates in tennis at TJ and a very special party friend. We won state championships at TJ, and he won ACC championships at South Carolina, which was so strong that I had to transfer to VCU where I played at number 1 and 2 singles. Dickie won more Junior tournaments than James Denoon, Henry Ragle, or me. We had fun at everything we did together. Thank God for sharing Dickie with us for 78 years. It has been a blast!

It was shocking to learn of his demise as he seemingly so healthy. He was a great person and will be sorely missed by all who met him.

I´m am shocked and saddened to read this news. He was a long time patient and just a great human being. Condolences to his family and the many tennis students he left behind. Prayers to all who knew Mr Peyton
