Not sure what to say?

Sending my sincere condolences to all who loved and cherished Richard. May the God of all comfort bring you strength and endurance during this time of grief. My deepest sympathies again.

You know how terrific your Father was when three years later the pain is just as bad as the day he passed. I LOVE YOU DAD AND I MISS YOU DAD.

Gone but never forgotten. Peace.

In memory of my father/best friend.

To the Pickering family. I have many great memories of Mr. Pickering growing up. I am also reminded of his generosity as I drive through the "Basin". I remember when he supplied and helped put up the poles and backboards for the basketball court. On a funny side I always remembered his Harvey Wallbanger shirt from when I was young. I have no idea why lol. Anyway he made me laugh as a child and teen and I will always remember that. I am very sorry for your loss. He will be missed. Dave

Dick was one of the men who made "the old RG&E" a great place to work. A fun loving, hard working fellow who will be missed by all who knew him. So sorry for the loss to his family.

Our sincere condolences go out to the Pickering family. Dick had a larger than life personality with a generous heart of gold. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and the memories he shared with family & friends will be cherished. Love to Carol, Dennis & Sherie, Scott, Ryan, Matt & Leeann and all the family.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayers are with you and your family.

I was blessed to have the most wonderful father-in-law for 25 years. From the very first day I met him, he treated me like his daughter. He taught us many things -- mainly the importance of family -- and he has left us with so many wonderful memories. He was a true gem who lived life to its fullest. My heart aches for our loss, but I know he is in a much greater place. He will be with us in spirit forever. I love you Dad. Sherie
