Richard James Pilato, 69


of Mount Pleasant passed away at 5:07 PM in UMPC’s Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Rich was born on March 26, 1956 in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late Michael and Wanda (Cichoki) Pilato. He married Connie L. (Graham) Pilato on October 8, 1985.


 



Rich was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He graduated from Southmoreland High school, Class of 1974 and was employed as a painter at the former Volkswagen Plant in New Stanton for 10 years and then retired after 20 years of service for the City of Largo, Florida.


 



Rich will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 40 years, Connie L. (Graham) Pilato; his children, Tim Peters (Liz) and Tricia Peters South (John); his grandchildren, Josh Peters, Natasha Schmidt (John), Jaidlynne South, and Colleen Miller; and his great grandchildren, Grayson and Garrett Schmidt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael J. Pilato (2015).
