My wife Fariba worked for Mike as a paralegal in the mid-1980's. To say that Mike and Barbara treated us like family is an undestatement. He even picked up the check at La Rez when I took Fariba out for our engagement dinner! He was there for us in some tough times and Mike went through some tough times but was always an upbeat and optimistic person. He took on Pan Am for his fellow pilots after he got his law degree.
