My sympathies to the Pittsley family. I remember Mr. Pittsley from my South Barre days and especially seeing him regularly at the Post Office.

My deepest condolences to Mr. Pittsley's family and friends. I was fortunate to grow up in South Barre and Mr. Pittsley was always the smiling and kindly gentleman at the Post Office. His wonderful sense of humor delighted my Mother and me, and I always looked forward to seeing him every day when picking up our mail. He was an icon of South Barre and the world is made a little less sunny today with his passing. Rest in peace.
