Not sure what to say?

Steve Player was a dynamic leader, a businessman that few could keep up with and most importantly, a wonderful family man and friend. We met at Arthur Andersen in 1998 and our business relationship continued for decades. He will be missed beyond what he ever would have imagined.

I just found out and I can say he´ll be missed. He gave me wonderful opportunities while working at Arthur Anderson that I don´t believe I could have got elsewhere. He´d call me every birthday to wish me a happy birthday. He´ll be missed. It took a big man to hold his big heart.

Steve was larger than life, and I shall miss him and his energy . . . a lot.

I was so sad to hear of Steve´s passing. He had so many good qualities: smart, hard working, great sense of humor... But mostly I will always remember Steve´s kindness. He delighted in helping others succeed. My sincere condolences to the Player family.

RIP, Steve. Thank you for your service to our profession. You were a great leader, passionate speaker and mentor. Deep condolences to the family.

Steve will be sorely missed at the Business Mentoring Roundtable. He was a pillar of the group and selflessly helped so many people. He will be sorely missed and my condolences to his family.

I met Steve early in my career at a number of activity based costing conferences. He became my friend, mentor and colleague at Arthur Anderson. He played a key part in my business life and I will be forever grateful to him. Rest in peace my friend and my prayers are with his family!

Steve, my condolences to your family. You left way too early and when you left there is an empty space in the universe. God´s speed my friend. `Til we meet again, I will cherish the memories together at Andersen.

My deepest condolences to Steve's family, and may he rest in peace. I met Steve when he became a member of the Addison TreeHouse a few years ago. He always had a positive attitude and was always willing to go out of his way to help other entrepreneurs. He was a tremendous leader and left an indelible impact on everyone he met. He will be missed.
