Not sure what to say?

Karen, Ben and Reid: I was extremely shocked and saddened to learn of the untimely passing of your beloved husband...and father...on Dec. 14 of last year. I only recently heard that he had gone to his deserved reward in heaven. Rick was one of my best friends while the two of us were combat medics stationed at Ft. Benning from 1972 to 1975. We shared many good times together during this time...times that I shall always remember. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. ...

Dear Karen, Ben, and Reid,
