Rick was someone as a teen I admired as a fellow Dixboro-ite. His hefty Hudson car (see photo) featured smart rear tire skirts and an adjusted suspension just a hair above ground level. Quite a show on the go!

Ruth and family, I lost a great friend on Friday. I´ve known Rick since 1954 and we´ve had many adventures together, some good and some bad. We saw the game the last time the Lion´s won the NFL championships; seems like yesterday. I remember the many times we hitchhiked to Detroit to watch the Tigers. Yes, I lost a great friend; he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Pat and I will keep keep you and your family in our prayers John and Pat
