Richard B. Potter passed away on September 19, 2004, in Fortuna, at the age of 64. He was a resident of Fortuna. He is survived by his son Monty Potter of Eureka. Arrangements are pending at Goble’s Chapel in Fortuna.

We were so sad to hear of Rich's passing. Rich was a wonderful friend to my mom (Launi),myself, and my 3 children. He was always there when mom needed him. He always had a big smile and laughed a lot. My kids loved his big, black cowboy hat and fun sense of humor. We hope Rich is resting peacefully, free of the health problems that plagued him. My mom and I have been blessed with many friends and Richard was one of the BEST!!!!
