Mr. Poulson was a lovely, kind and generous man. I met him while waiting tables at the Keswick Club in the 90s and he helped me in my quest to attend UVA.

To the Family......I was so sorry to read in The Washington Post about the passing of Dick. He was always so supportive to my brother and my niece. My Family will be forever grateful for his many contributions and love that he illustrated towards others. May his soul continue to rest in peace.

Mr Poulson taught a class in English literature at Christchurch School in which I was a student. He was an inspiring teacher: After all these years I can still visualize him expounding on Chaucer. The Christchurch sporting teams of that era played well above what might have been expected of them, and Mr Poulson had a hand in that. A life well lived.
