Richard Perry Pounds

Mr. Richard Perry Pounds, son of the late Richard Edward Pounds and surviving mother Sarah Ann Pounds, was born December 3, 1954 in Columbia, SC, and died Monday, June 10, 2013. Mr. Pounds had been a resident of Lexington SC and was the owner/operator of Pounds Garage. His interest were restoring classic cars, hunting and fishing. Memorials may be made to Agape Senior Foundation, 1053 Center St., West Columbia, SC 29169. Mr. Pounds is survived by his wife of 22 years, Bonnie S. Pounds of Lexington; step-son and daughter-in-law Michael and Kathryn Kilpatrick of Clover, daughter, Melissa E. Pounds of Columbia, daughter and son-in-law Heather and Willie Cook of West Columbia; step-son Jonathan Kilpatrick of Columbia; son and daughter-in-law Richard Ramsey and Dorell Pounds of Lexington; brother and sister-in-law C.W. (Pete) and Thelma Roebuck of Pelion; sister Karen P. Pounds of West Columbia. Mr. Pounds is also survived by ten grandchildren. Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday June 15, 2013 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends at their home after the service.
