Dr. Richard Warren Powell

My condolences to Rich's family. I had the pleasure of working with Rich at Woodward. He was a class act whether he was providing psychological services or partying. I have appreciated the good things that I learned from Rich about work and life more and more over the years. The most salient memory I have of him was his laugh - infectious. I didn't keep up with Rich over these years, so to see all of his accomplishments is impressive, but not surprising. I'm glad he got to pursue his dreams!

Wow. Perfect picture to capture the essence of Richard. I would say no one knew him better than I did in our early years through college but sadly, we were both guilty of not staying in contact enough. Let that be a lesson you always assume you have more time. But that picture says it all. Loving, wise, conniving, fun, loving, caring, compassionate, and a great first ballot candidate for heaven.
