Not sure what to say?

To all The Pratt family. My sincere condolences to you all. Richard was my classmate and what a wonderful person he was. Saw him at our 50th reunion and he hadn't changed since 1954. Still very gracious and one of the nicest people I have ever met. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mr. Pratt,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the the U.S. Army during the Cold War. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow Servicemen stood ready to defend our Country. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

One whole summer I had the pleasure of being up the creek with Richard, Bailey's Creek that is. We had adjacent mooring that year and frequent saw each other in passing and aboard. A true gentleman, we shared conversation sparingly, each in our floating escape pods. While I am saddened by his passing I am glad I had the opportunity to share time with the man.

Dear Marge,

So sorry to hear about your brother Richard. I remember him in the yard building his boat wondering how long it would take him to finish.
I will be away next week so will not be able to make the services, but wanted you to know I am thinking of you and your family.
Prayers and love are sent your way.
