The Blue Magic sound was played 24/7 in my household. Radios were our best friends as well as stereos. The harmony was always so soothing! God bless these men who graced and shared their love of music to the world. We will always love them. Richard Pratt you were Special!

Dear Richard, For some I was thinking about “Blue Magic” this morning. Then my thoughts went to you since you have passed on. I still remember the Summer when I first heard “Blue Magic”. I was so excited because I had never heard beautiful songs like those before. “Blue Magic” will always have a special place in my heart. And so will you, Richard. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE WITH THE LORD.

The most amazing and beautiful soul group of the 1960s and beyond! Listening to them as a child sparked my imagination about love and places far away, and yet to visit. I thank Our Heavenly Father for sending His Angel Richard Pratt to grace us with his talent, aka Blue Magic! During high school and in elementary school. Blue Magic's Philadelpia sound had me playing their records from sun up to sundown. The pitch perfect sound of the group and the harmony made me a lifelong fan - INSTANTLY. THANK you Blue Magic for sharing your GIFTS to the world.
