Wow! I am so angry with myself for missing today´s service. Please excuse my absence. Dick was a big part of my life when he joined Victor Cornelius Inc. in Eastland for a number of years back in the nineties. Always a gentleman and always a joy to be around, I looked forward to our time together most every day. Dick was Dick and he had his ways...he often put off a project until the last minute and then scrambled with an all nighter only to present a brilliant piece of work the morning...

I was so sad to hear of Dick's passing. Dick and I were business friends from the early days of The Ad Department. I always felt he was a model for the way a "creative" should be ... knowing what it took to get a project all the way through the process to final production.
