To the wonderful family of Dick Ptak.

I, Jack Thornton, worked with Dick at Steelcase as a co-Safety Engineer for several years. We worked well together and have fond memories. After retirement, Dick and I bow hunted for several years at Big Star Lake, "Camp No Deer"! We rarely shot a deer but had great times playing golf, cards, jarts, botchy ball and etc.

My wife and I attended the very touching and inspirational funeral today and felt Dick's spirit surrounding each of...

Just my luck, as I am away in Switzerland, this happens. As you know, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. See you when we get back.

DICK WAS A GOOD GUY.I WORKED WITH DICK IN PANEL PLANT AND HE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE. I'M SORRY TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING,AND GOD BLESS THE PTAK FAMILY.

Dick was a memorable man with a sunny disposition and an orientation toward doing the right thing. I am thankful that our paths crossed at Steelcase and I send my profound sympathy to his family and friends.

I worked with Dick for many happy years he was a good friend I will miss him always.

So sorry for your loss,Dick and I became friends when we worked at Lear,we drifted apart after he went to Steelcase and I to G.M. but I never forgot him.He was a great guy.
